Today I did my first relaxation exercise in this term. I did not realize how much I had missed doing these until tonight. I was first introduced to them in my stress management class and really loved them. The one I did today was called Journey On relaxation exercise. It used the power of the mind suggesting movement of blood to different areas of the body to promote relaxation of the muscles. This I found to be amazing how you can control the body with your mind to do what you want it to do. I felt very relaxed afterwards and replayed the exercise to help relax my legs also (in the guided exercise it guides you to do you hands and arms). I suffer from sever carpel tunnel syndrome and this really helped to relax my hands and also helped to reduce the pain.
